Cookies Policy

CONSULTING M. VIERA, S.L., CIF: B35890474, hereinafter “The Entity”, uses cookies to collect information from users. Session cookies are used for technical purposes (those that allow the user to navigate through the APP and the use of the different options and services that exist in it).

Art. 4 of RD-Law 13/2012 transposes to the Spanish legal system Directive 2009/136/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, modifying art. 22.2 of the LSSI (Law 34/2002) configuring the current regulations of the so-called “Cookies Law or Anticookies Law”. From the same APP owners and websites that install any cookie (including third-party cookies such as Google Analytics) must adequately inform and ensure that their users consent to the installation of cookies.

It makes no difference whether the website is hosted by a European hosting provider, on Facebook, etc. In any case if your entity is Spanish or provides services specifically aimed at the territory of the Spanish State, you must comply with the Law.

The Cookies Law is different from the Data Protection Law. They are to be applied as follows:

Cookie that is not used to process personal data: You only have to comply with the Cookie Law.
Cookie that is used to process personal data: You must comply with the Data Protection Act and, in addition, the Cookies Act.

The information provided below will help you understand the different types of cookies:

According to the form of data storage

Session Cookies: these are temporary cookies that remain in the cookie file of your browser until you leave the session open, so that none is recorded in the user’s device. The information obtained through these cookies is used to analyze traffic patterns.
Permanent cookies: they are stored in the device and our APP reads them every time you make a new visit.  The cookie will stop working after a certain date. It is generally used to facilitate the purchase and registration services, and to remember settings and preferences in the user’s navigation, such as: language selection, theme selection, menu preferences, bookmarking internal pages of the Web, etc.

According to the level of relationship with the user

First-party cookies: served directly by the same APP domain visited by the user (e.g.: https://consultingviera.es/) and normally linked to the provision of the service itself or APP analytics tasks.
Third-party cookies: linked to alternative domain names of the same provider, or to external providers specialized in advertising campaign management, personalization or, likewise, analytics. While all browsers initially accept first-party cookies, some of them disable third-party cookies in the absence of an express action by the user.

Levels of intrusiveness

The above cookies can be classified by the criterion of “level of intrusiveness”, on a scale of 1 to 3:

Level 1: corresponds to cookies for internal use essential for the provision of the service itself requested by the user.
Level 2: corresponds to anonymous cookies for internal use necessary for the maintenance of content and navigation, as well as cookies managed by third parties within the framework of services expressly requested by the user in their apps (e.g.: Social Plugins from Facebook or Twitter).
Level 3: corresponds to cookies managed by third parties in the context of services not expressly requested by the user, allowing tracking through the site visited by the user and not owned by the APP (e.g.: display advertising management platforms). The specification of this level is accompanied by its owner.  The use of level 3 cookies is subject to the prior permission of the user by express confirmation of acceptance.

The user can decide about the implantation or not in his device the cookies of our Web after seeing its characteristics.

The user can also configure his browser to accept or reject by default all cookies or to receive an on-screen warning of the reception of each cookie and decide at that time whether or not to install it on his device.
